Verily the most beloved of servants in the sight of Allah is the servant whom He helps to reform his soul such that he feels sadness [on the inside] and dons the attire of fear [on the outside]; so the lamp of guidance is illuminated in his heart, and he has prepared [for himself] a hospitable reception for the day which he will come upon.

3 إنَّ مِنْ أحَبِّ العِبادِ إلَى اللّهِ عَبْداً أعانَهُ عَلى نَفْسِهِ فَاسْتَشْعَرَ الحُزْنَ، وَتَجَلْبَبَ الخَوْفَ، فَزَهَرَ مِصْباحُ الهُدى في قَلْبِهِ،وَ أعَدَّ القِرى لِيَوْمِهِ النّازِلِ بِهِِ.
