271. Be a community that understands that this world is not their [permanent] abode so they exchange it [for the Hereafter].

271 كُونُوا قَوْماً عَلِمُوا أنَّ الدُّنيا لَيْسَتْ بِدارِهِمْ فاسْتَبْدَلُوا.

272 كُونُوا مِنْ أبْناءِ الآخِرَةِ، وَلا تَكُونُوا مِنْ أبْناءِ الدُّنْيا فَإنَّ كُلَّ وَلَد سَيَلْحَقُ بِأُمِّهِ يَوْمَ القيمَةِ.

273 كُلَّما إزدادَ المَرْءُ بِالدُّنيا شُغْلاً وزادَ بِها وَلَهاً أَوْرَدَتْهُ المَسالِكَ وَأَوْقَعَتْهُ فِي المَهالِكِ.

274. Whatever does not benefit, harms, and this world with its sweetness, becomes bitter whereas poverty with [seeking] sufficiency through Allah, never harms.
