56. One who entertains the hope of [fulfilment of] false cupidity, the grant [which he receives] belies him.

56 مَنْ حَدَّثَ نَفْسَهُ بِكاذِبِ الطَّمَعِ كَذَّبَتْهُ العَطِيَّةُ.
