34. The generosity of a man endears him to his rivals and his stinginess makes him hated by his [own] children.

34 جُودُ الرَّجُلِ يُحَبِّبُهُ إلى أضْدادِهِ، وبُخْلُهُ يُبَغِّضُهُ إلى أوْلادِهِ.
