11 إيّاكَ والكَلامَ فيما لاتَعْرِفُ طريقَتَهُ، ولاتَعْلَمُ حَقيقَتَهُ، فَإنَّ قَوْلَكَ يَدُلُّ عَلى عَقْلِكَ، وعِبارَتَكَ تُنْبِئُ عَنْ مَعْرِفَتِكَ، فَتَوَقَّ مِنْ طُولِ لِسانِكَ ما أمِنْتَهُ، واخْتَصِرْ مِنْ كَلامِكَ مَا اسْتَحْسَنْتَهُ، فَإنَّهُ بِكَ أجْمَلُ وعَلى فَضْلِكَ أدَلُّ.
